Strack Industries is pleased to announce that the Pace Industries Expansion in Maple Lake, MN is nearing completion. The 60,000 square foot plant expansion includes a 2-story office space, which will include dedicated employee welfare areas, management and sales offices, engineering offices, and a board room.
In addition, the building expansion will have designated spaces for die-casting, quality control, and machining. A new 3,200 square foot stand-alone building will solely be used for storing magnesium. With the addition of a new 7 ½ ton crane, shipping and receiving docks will now be able to accommodate the storing and shipping of Pace Industries’ magnesium products.
This expansion project began June 1, 2016, and has a completion date of March 1, 2017. Pace Industries is an integrated tool and die company that provides quality die-casting, manufacturing, and engineering solutions worldwide. Concrete walls were erected by Wells Concrete of Maple Grove. The company created 412 pieces of precast concrete for the project.
Headquartered in Fayetteville, AR, the Maple Lake plant specializes in magnesium products for the medical device, automotive, recreational vehicle, power and hand tool, and telecommunications industries.
